I really love Moosjaw!
I think they have the best copy-writing ever, especially in their emails. Every time I receive one of their newsletters I can’t help giggling…
This is the copy of the last email:

Really super sale means you’re getting an even better sale then the sale already going on at Moosejaw. The last time we had a sale this good I picked up a nice French armoire for half off. Here are some rules about the Really Super Sale…

1. Add up to 4 sale items to your cart. The more you buy the better the price.
2. The maximum additional discount is 25%.
3. The deal only works on items already on sale.
4. The deal would work on all extra toppings if we sold pizzas.
5. You have to use coupon code JACKSON or it won’t work, no one will like you and you’ll lose half of your followers on Twitter.
6. I think that covers it.

Love the Madness,
Moosejaw

Also their Twitter account is not bad: @moosejawmadness

Is this Twitter’s business model? |

Posted: June 17th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Marketing, Web | Tags: , , , | 1 Comment »

This morning I’ve found this checking my Twitter account. Is this supposed to be Twitter’s new business model? (assuming there was an old one…)
If so I’m not convinced.

Apparently the name is Promoted Trending Topics. TechCrunch posted something about that yesterday, with more details (also the image on the left is theirs).

I’m extremely curious to see if it works and what’s people reaction.
Is it really a trending topic if it’s sponsored (read: forced) by a company?
